Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh, the remake of Bollywood’s biggest blockbuster Dabangg will move onto the sets from 25th July. Shruti Haasan has been finalized as the leading lady and she will reprise the role of Sonakshi Sinha in the original.
Harish Shankar who shot to fame with Mirapakaay will direct the film while Ganesh Babu will produce it on Parameswara Arts banner. Devi Sri Prasad will compose the music for the film.
Pawan Kalyan has recently returned Hyderabad after the 45 long schedule of Kaali in Kolkata. Kaali is being directed by Vishnuvardhan.
The much awaited movie of Pawan Kalyan, 'Gabbar Singh' shooting would kick off from September 9. According to official reports, director Harish Shankar has almost finalized Gabbar Singh script and would put finishing touches shortly. The movie would be an out and out mass entertainer – almost like a full meals to the fan base it seems. Pawan Kalyan has okayed couple of tunes from music Director Devi Sri Prasad apparently and the pre-production work is also going at full swing. Recently, Gabbar Singh shooting location search took place and the makers have finalized Hyderabad, Pollachi, Mahabaleshwar, Panchgani, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh as shooting locations.
